Just after 6pm tonight, Bryn Mawr Fire Company and the Gladwyne Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to Carisbrook Road in Bryn Mawr for a dwelling. Lower Merion Police arrived on location reporting heavy smoke showing. The township working fire dispatch went out bringing a truck from the remainder of the stations. Rescue 21 responded, stood by as the fast team and assisted with throwing ground ladders. Once the fire was under control, we were put into service assisting with overhaul of a second story roof area that was heavily charred by fire. Rescue 21 was in service for just under three hours. Thanks to Narberth Ambulance for standing by and providing rehab services.
